Taylor Swift fans believe Rep TV fast approaching after surprise song performance
Dazzling concertgoers at an Eras Tour show in Liverpool, England on Saturday, June 14th, Taylor performed an acoustic rendition of the popular Calvin Harris x Rihanna song This Is What You Came For segueing into Gold Rush.
Taylor and Calvin dated for over a year from 2015 to 2016, and she actually co-wrote the hit song with him under the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg, which she revealed during a conversation with legendary songwriter Paul McCartney for Rolling Stone in 2020. Due to its inclusion in the setlist, some fans are adamant that she’s teasing Reputation (Taylor’s Version) as her forthcoming project.
“Mother said ‘Listen children, don’t forget I wrote this one,'” a fan on TikTok captioned a video of the This Is What You Came For performance, and throughout the crowd are green lights.
“It’ll be on Rep TV because of the green bracelets,” somebody claimed about the song in the comments.
“The bracelets turned green. Repeating, the bracelets turned green,” another emphasized. In explanation, another commented on the potential “It means the song belongs to Rep era… [it] will most likely be released as a vault track on Rep TV.”
“Wait… you might be on to something here,” one reacted, as another was quick to point out that “This green is the same as when she played Getaway Car last time,” also taken from the 2017 album Reputation. It’s one of two albums in her catalogue fans are still anticipating a Taylor’s Version release for.

Not only was Taylor playing a song she wrote with Calvin enough to catch fans’ attention, but it’s where she chose to play the track too.
“I don’t think enough people are talking about the fact that she sang this in Liverpool FC stadium,” one fan pointed out. “Calvin Harris’s football team.”
The 40-year-old DJ has long expressed his enthusiasm for the sports team and even played their end-of-season parade in 2022.
“My husband just told me Calvin Harris is a huge Liverpool fan,” another commented on the aforementioned TikTok. “This is next-level petty and I’m here for it.”
