Bukayo Saka is now learning one thing from Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard at London Colney

Bukayo Saka is reportedly learning one thing from Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard behind the scenes at London Colney.

Odegaard and Saka are two of Arsenal’s most important players, with the pair, alongside Ben White, forming a deadly right-hand side for the Gunners that has been key to the north London side’s success in the last two seasons.

With Saka enjoying a record-breaking season, it’s clear that the England international loves playing on the same side as Odegaard, who has taken on the role as captain of Arsenal expertly and with the proper respect the armband has been lacking in recent years.

Indeed, as a Hale End academy graduate and one of the most influential Arsenal players both on and off the pitch, Saka taking on more responsibility and the age of 22 is something supporters should have learnt to expect from the winger.

And with Saka’s influence only growing as his game improves, the England international maturing is an encouraging sign of what’s to come in the future from the attacker, who is on course to become a legend at Arsenal.

Saka one day becoming Arsenal captain would be poetic

Saka’s importance to Arsenal is night and day when the winger isn’t on the pitch, and the winger one day becoming club captain would be poetic given his journey to the top of world football.

The 22-year-old still has much to learn and could easily become one of the best players on the planet if his development continues as it currently is, and Arsenal fans know that Saka is destined for greatness.

As such, handing the winger the captaincy would be an incredible achievement for Saka, who could easily be named skipper in the years to come, even if Odegaard does indeed stay for the duration of his long-term contract.
