General Election hustings organised by Newark Business Club to take place at YMCA Community and Activity Village

The public have their chance to question Newark’s General Election candidates at an event next week.

A hustings, hosted by Newark Business Club, takes place at the YMCA Community and Activity Village, Newark, on Thursday, June 27.

From 7pm until 9pm, members of the public are invited to attend the event and engage, ask questions about key issues and be part of the democratic process.

All the candidates standing in the Newark constituency have been invited to take part.

People who wish to submit questions are advised to do it beforehand by emailing hello@newarkbusinessclub.co.uk, or via the club’s social media pages.

At 6.30pm the venue doors will open and tea and coffee will be available. The hustings will begin at 7pm, hosted by the chairman of Newark Business Club, Simon Gabbitas.

Free parking is available at the venue, with disabled spaces and an access path to the main entrance.
