Law enforcement officers identified a Ukrainian defender who was brutally killed at the front. They have also identified the Russians responsible for the beheading of the Ukrainian soldier, according to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin.
"Regarding the investigation into the brutal murder of a Ukrainian defender in the Donetsk region, which became known yesterday. The deceased has been identified. At the moment, we cannot disclose his name, as procedures are underway to finally confirm the data,” Kostin said.
He also said that Ukrainian law enforcement officers identified Russian commanders potentially responsible for the beheading of the Ukrainian defender. The information is still being verified.
The Prosecutor General stresses that the brutal murder of the soldier is another confirmation that complete disregard for international law and universal morality is Russia's state policy.
“Every world leader who shakes hands with Putin needs to realize that they are shaking hands with a person who tolerates barbaric murder,” Kostin added.
