Formula 1's youngest drivers of all time

After the FIA tweaked the super licence rules to enable drivers that are 17-years-old to be eligible, F1 could see more young drivers.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli is currently 17 years 9 months old and if he gets dispensation from the governing body to make his F1 debut early, he could enter the top 10 list of youngest debutants of all time.

The Italian was recently linked to a seat replacing American Logan Sargeant at Williams, in anticipation of a full-time debut at Mercedes for 2025.

The top 10 youngest F1 debutants

Leading the list is three-time world champion Max Verstappen, who at the age of 17 years, 5 months, 15 days made his debut at the Australian Grand Prix. Lance Stroll is second after making his debut with Williams at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix following his title-winning season in FIA European Formula 3.

Oliver Bearman is the most recent entrant having made his F1 debut at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix for Ferrari, when Carlos Sainz was forced to withdraw from the weekend due to contracting appendicitis.

Before that, Lando Norris made his F1 debut in 2019 with McLaren having only made his race car debut in 2014.
