Baseball: Ohtani's 3-run double in vain as Dodgers' winning run ends

Shohei Ohtani hit a game-tying three-run double on Wednesday for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who suffered a 7-6 walk-off defeat against the Colorado Rockies that ended their three-game winning run.

Ohtani went 2-for-5 at Coors Field. His two-out second-inning line drive to the gap in left off Ryan Feltner cleared the bases and tied the game 3-3. Ohtani then scored the go-ahead run on a Freddie Freeman single.

Jason Heyward's two-run double gave the Dodgers a 6-4 lead in the fifth.

The Rockies tied it in the seventh on a Dodgers' error and a Brenton Doyle sacrifice fly. Ohtani struck out to end the eighth with two runners on, and Doyle delivered another sacrifice fly in the ninth to plate the walk-off run.

Seiya Suzuki's four-game hitting streak came to an end when he went 0-for-3 with two walks for the Chicago Cubs in their 6-5 win over the San Francisco Giants.
