Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 21: +1,060 troops and 54 artillery systems

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have eliminated another 1,060 Russian occupiers in the past 24 hours. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation has lost approximately 531,980 soldiers. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 54 enemy artillery systems and 35 armored combat vehicles in the past day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 21, 2024, are estimated as follows:

Politico reported that the US has allowed Ukraine to use American weapons to strike any Russian forces attacking across the border, not just those in the Kharkiv area.

However, the Institute for the Study of War believes that US policy still prohibits Ukrainian forces from using US-provided weapons to strike military targets deep within Russian territory.
