Even minor traffic violations can result in vehicle confiscation - moreover, citizens can lose their cars because of mere suspicion in some cases.

“This practice isn't new in the temporarily occupied territories,” NRC said.

“Luhansk Oblast's residents have already witnessed transport seizures, but it was mostly about specialized vehicles like excavators, tractors, or even boats.”
