Meanwhile, many Mariupol residents remain homeless, as much of the city was destroyed in the siege of the city in early 2022, Andryushchenko noted.

“What strange games of fate; Belgorod residents, who cheered at Mariupol being destroyed, are now hiding in Mariupol from their own war,” Andryushchenko said in a Telegram post.

“This clearly shows Russia’s attitude — homeless Mariupol residents have neither priority nor importance compared to the 'real' Russians.”
