Ukrainian defenders destroy 4 Russian missiles attacking Ukraine overnight

On the night of June 21, Russia once again attacked Ukraine with tactical aircraft. As of 7 a.m., the Ukrainian military destroyed all 4 Kh-59 and Kh-69 guided missiles, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"On the night of June 21, 2024, the Russians struck Ukraine from tactical aircraft with Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missiles. All missiles were shot down by air defense in Kirovohrad and Kherson regions," the statement says.

To recap, according to a report by the US Institute for the Study of War, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are recapturing territory near Vovchansk.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that as of the morning of June 21, Russia has 9 ships in the Black and Azov Seas. Four of them are Kalibr missile carriers.
