A New Jersey ShopRite is hosting an 80s themed sale and party to kick off the summer.
The Old Bridge ShopRite located off of Route 9 will be reducing the prices of select summer items to match those in the 80s. This Neon Summer Overnight Sale, taking place midnight to 6 a.m. Saturday, includes trivia games, playing 80s music with a live DJ and giving away themed prizes, according to a news release.
The ShopRite of Old Bridge is looking to make shopping fun for new customers and “drive excitement and just awareness” that the location is open 24 hours a day, said Amanda Fisher, the marketing manager for Village Supermarkets.
This ShopRite location has held overnight theme nights in the past, including a Midnight Madness event celebrating the NCAA tournament featuring basketball players from Rutgers University.
