Ukrainian drone strike ignites three-day fire at Russian oil depot - satellite photos

Drone attack on oil depot in town of Azov, Rostov Oblast, Russia, June 18

Satellite images taken after the smoke from the fire dissipated showed that three of six fuel tanks were burned in the attack.

Earlier, on June 18, NV sources within the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) confirmed that the attack on the Azovnaftoprodukt oil depot and facilities in Russia's Rostov Oblast was carried out by the Ukrainian drones.

The facilities collectively house 22 fuel storage tanks, the sources said.

The attacks triggered significant fires at the facilities.

In total, Ukrainian drones have conducted over 20 successful strikes on Russian oil facilities across different regions.
