In honor of the sufi woman Zub Soab, a collective Fatiha Khawani is scheduled to be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 (18 Dhu’l-Hijjah, 1445 AH). The event will take place after the Zuhar prayer at 2:30 PM at Charar Sharif, Bagh-e-Alam Koot, where she was laid to rest.
Zub Soab, a revered spiritual guide and mentor, profoundly impacted the lives of many through her teachings and guidance. Her legacy of inspiration and upliftment continues to resonate among her followers. In recognition of her enduring influence, all devotees, followers, and well-wishers are invited to join in this collective Fatiha Khawani.
Kashmir’s revered female dervish, Zuba Soab, passed away Thursday night and was buried Friday afternoon in the historic town of Charar-i-Sharief. Tens of thousands attended her funeral prayers.
The 90 year old woman carried forward the spiritual legacy of Sheikh-ul-Alam (RA), a 14th-century saint whose shrine is located in Charar-i-Sharief.
On Friday, tens of thousands gathered at Sheikh-ul-Alam’s shrine to offer funeral prayers and pay their last respects to Zuba Soab.
According to the family, the general public is hereby informed that a collective “Fatiha Khawani will be held in memory of the revered Murshid Zub Saab on Monday, June 24, 2024 , ( 18 Dhu’l – Hijjah, 1445 AH). The Fatiha khuwani will take place after the Zuhar Prayer at 2:30 PM.This solemn occasion will take place at Charar Sharif, Bagh-e- Alam Koot, the sacred site of her burial.”
