‘100 per cent’: Euro 2024 star who is like ‘Mohamed Salah’ speaks out on his future after Liverpool enquiry

Liverpool will undoubtedly be able to compete to sign the world’s top players now that they are back in the Champions League.

A third-place finish under Jurgen Klopp last season means the Reds are now back in the big time on the pitch, but also in the transfer market.

The chance to play in Europe’s elite competition should entice players to come to Anfield, with Arne Slot needing a big and talented squad if he is to bring success to the club.

He has only just been unveiled on Merseyside, but will have been planning such success for quite some time, having been watching videos of the Reds in recent weeks.

Meeting many of his new players will, however, have to wait given their ongoing international duties at Euro 2024 and Copa America.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia speaks out on future after Liverpool enquiry

One player who could be targeted by Slot this summer is Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with Liverpool able to afford him if he does become available.

According to CaughtOffside, the Anfield outfit have enquired about the potential signing of the winger, who is currently at Euro 2024 with Georgia.

And according to the Liverpool Echo, he has now spoken out about his future, saying: “I’m currently only focused on the national team. After the European Championships, I will then decide my future.

“I’m 100 per cent focused on helping my country and I’m not taking any notice of things that are being said.”

Liverpool should pursue the Napoli and Georgia star this summer

Previously likened to current Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah by Fabio Capello, the Georgian is currently aiming to go far in Germany with his nation.

He is playing in the tournament following another fine season with Napoli, where he scored 11 goals and registered nine assists in all competitions.

The Italian outfit finished miserably in 10th place just one season after lifting the Serie A trophy, but Kvaratskhelia can still hold his head high.

He did, however, also fall short of his efforts last time out, but that was always going to be near-impossible after tallies of 14 goals and 17 assists.

But with no European football at all for Napoli next season, along with a change in the dugout in the form of a new manager in Antonio Conte, Kvaratskhelia’s future is uncertain.

He would unquestionably be welcomed with open arms by Liverpool fans, with his speed and tricky feet certain to cause even the most experienced Premier League defenders plenty of issues.
