Cambridge United have unveiled a floral-inspired away strip for their 2024/25 League One season.
The eye-catching vibrant away shirt, made by Umbro and sponsored by BrewBoard, was said to be initially inspired by the plethora of water lilies along the River Cam, with the imagination growing further afield to an aqua-inspired floral baroque design that is often seen in far-eastern pottery.
A club statement said: “Working collaboratively with our technical partners, the design team brought our ideas to life, showcasing a dazzling all-over design which flows up and across the rear of the jersey.
“The jersey is constructed using an athletic Umbro silhouette with an offset hem. The shirt features raglan sleeves running up to a ribbed crew neck collar with matching cuffs and ‘United in Endavour’ once again adorns the inside neck taping.
“A tonal, woven United crest lays proudly on the left breast, with Umbro’s double diamond logo on the right side.”
Like the club’s new home kit – which was revealed last week – The Hill Group are the back-of-shirt sponsors, FORA are shirt sleeve sponsors and Alan Boswell Group are the back-of-shorts sponsors.
The kit is now available to purchase from the club shop.
