Three Counties Running Club members took on the Run Sandringham Half Marathon.
With the start and finish within the Sandringham Estate, including passing directly in front of Sandringham House, the event boasts a scenic route with stunning views of the Norfolk Countryside.
First home for the club was Vicki Newton 217th out of a field of 969 finishers in a time of 1:50:10 crossing the line with her husband Phil in the same time and Tracy Adams in 2:20:44.
Wednesday evening saw the first race in the Peterborough 5k series, hosted by Eye Community runners.
There was a great turnout for the club on a warm summer evening with the first member home in a great PB time of 18:57 was Rickie Trundle.
He was followed by: Katie Vargeson 19:49, Richard Allen 20:08, Craig Freestone 20:14 (CPB), Lauren Day 22:05, Amy Baxter 22:45, Sarah Johnson 23:48, Claire Smithee 23:52 (PB), Naomi Smith 25:20, Alice Ingman 29:28 (CPB), Melvin Green 29:48 and Sarah Lamb 30:36.
Elsewhere, Jacqueline McGonigle took on the ATLAS Running 24-hour event to take on the 50k challenge, where she finished in 9:14:46.
King's Lynn parkrun saw club member AJ Harris participate in his 50th parkrun.
Club members came to support by either running or cheer squad.
There was some great efforts in the heat with Les Phillips crossing the line first for TCRC in 25:08, followed by: Lauren Day 25:38, Sarah Johnson 28:05, Sarah Melton-Whitelam 28:43, Kim Coultard 29:40, Sarah-Jane Macdonald 30:10, Jayne Spurrier 30:11, Melvin Green 30:19, Zoe Gourley 30:24, Sarah Lamb 30:33, Matt Hunter 30:35, Steve Whitelam 30:35, AJ Harris 36:04 and Lesley Phillips 44:5 (PB).
