Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 25: +1180 troops and 35 artillery systems

Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine over June 24-25 amounted to 1180 Russian occupants. In total, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost about 536,840 soldiers. In addition, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 18 Russian armored combat vehicles and 35 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to June 25, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - 536,840 (+1180) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 8035 (+4) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 15,431 (+18) units;
  • artillery systems - 14,281 (+35) units;
  • MLRS - 1108 units;
  • air defense systems - 863 units;
  • airplanes - 359 units;
  • helicopters - 326 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 11,413 (+31) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2,324 (+1) units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 19,362 (+58) units;
  • special equipment - 2403 (+6) units.

The Pokrovsk sector was the hottest spot on the frontline yesterday, June 24. Russia did not stop trying to break through the Ukrainian defense and made 45 attacks. As of the evening, Russia lost 185 occupants killed and wounded.

The US State Department outlined its vision of Ukraine's strategy for success in the war against Russia. In particular, success can be achieved by depriving Moscow of the opportunity to advance in the east, use close firing lines, and cause economic losses to Ukraine.
