From Manchester City, 14 players in total were picked to feature in the tournament currently taking place in Germany, which is more representation than any other Premier League side.

David Villa shares who he thinks is better out of Kevin De Bruyne and Luka Modric

Appearing in a video recently uploaded on the BBC Sport TikTok channel, David Villa was blind ranking 10 players currently featuring in the Euros.

After putting Kevin De Bruyne in eighth place, the next player that came up for Villa to rank was Luka Modric, who the Spaniard then placed ninth below the City star, who Danny Murphy likened to tennis legend Roger Federer earlier month.

De Bruyne vs Modric – there’s only one winner

In 534 appearances for Real Madrid, the Croatian has scored 39 goals and delivered 86 assists in the process, winning four La Liga titles and six Champions Leagues.

With 382 games under his belt for City, De Bruyne has found the back of the net 102 times, provided 170 assists, won six Premier League trophies and one Champions League along the way.

On the international stage, Modric has scored 26 goals in 178 appearances for Croatia, whereas the City star has totalled 28 goals in 103 appearances for Belgium.

While the Real star has undoubtedly had a stunning period in Spain and is a key figure for his country, we don’t think that any City supporters would rank him higher than De Bruyne.
