Middlesbrough star Emmanuel Latte Lath shares pre-season update ahead of 2024/25 campaign

A Middlesbrough star has been pictured working hard in the gym ahead of his return to Boro for their 2024/25 pre-season preparation.

Middlesbrough are gearing up for another season in the Championship under former Manchester United midfielder, Michael Carrick.

Carrick has been Boro manager since October 2022 and has revitalised a squad that was previously lacking any real identity or clear vision.

Unfortunately for the Teesside faithful, Carrick is yet to guide the North East outfit back to the Premier League.

Middlesbrough came close to promotion in 2022/23 but were bested by Coventry City in the play-off semi-finals.

They then finished eighth in the Championship this past term but with a positive run of one loss in 12 at the end of the campaign, a promotion push could be on the cards this time around.

Middlesbrough’s preparation for the forthcoming campaign will begin on July 20 versus Bolton Wanderers, with Boro finishing their pre-season on August 3rd against SC Heerenveen.

Emmanuel Latte Lath spotted working hard ahead of Middlesbrough pre-season return

While it may be the off-season for some players, Middlesbrough striker Emmanuel Latte Lath has been working hard during the break from club football.

After an impressive 2023/24 in England, Latte Lath was handed his first call-up by Ivory Coast for their 2026 World Cup qualifiers earlier this month.

The 25-year-old made his debut on June 7 versus Gabon, coming off the bench for four minutes during a 1-0 win.

The striker then played 62 minutes of a 0-0 draw with Kenya on June 11th and is continuing to work hard off the field this month.

Personal trainer Diego Soregaroli took to Instagram recently to share some training videos of the Boro hitman.

Latte Lath was videoed using two different leg press machines as well as lunging onto a workout bench.

Soregaroli captured the videos of the forward ‘Carichiamo la gamba’, which translates to ‘we load the leg’.

Latte Lath will be key to Middlesbrough promotion push

Middlesbrough fans are no doubt pleased to see their star striker working hard during his time off over the summer.

Latte Lath joined the Teessiders from Atalanta BC during the 2023 summer window as a replacement for Chuba Akpom.

The Ivorian did not exactly hit the ground running at the Riverside, scoring five in his first 18 Championship games.

However, Latte Lath showcased his true quality at the back end of the campaign, finding the net 11 times in Boro’s final 12 league games of the season.

With Middlesbrough lacking quality depth in the striker department ahead of the 2024/25 season, Carrick will need Latte Lath at his best if the club are to be in the promotion mix come May of next year.
