2026 4-star QB Landon Duckworth decommits from South Carolina Gamecocks

Jackson (Ala.) 2026 four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth has decommitted from South Carolina. He had been a member of the Gamecocks’ 2026 class since August.

Duckworth is the nation’s No. 134 overall prospect, No. 13 quarterback and No. 9 recruit from Alabama in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Two recruits remain committed to South Carolina’s 2026 class: Newnan (Ga.) top-100 linebacker Rodney Colton and Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe three-star interior offensive lineman Anthony Baxter.

Four blue-chip commits lead the way — Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale four-star cornerback Shamari Earls, Concord (N.C.) Jay M. Robinson four-star wide receiver Brian Rowe, Gaffney (S.C.) four-star interior offensive lineman Shed Sarratt and Taylors (S.C.) Eastside four-stare EDGE Jaquavious Dodd.
