Russia's losses in Ukraine as of JUne 26: +1,220 troops and 40 artillery systems

Russian losses in the war in Ukraine from June 25 to 26 amounted to 1,220 occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost about 538,060 soldiers. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 19 enemy armored combat vehicles and 40 artillery systems within the day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 26, 2024, are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel - 538,060 (+1,220) eliminated;
  • Tanks - 8,039 (+4) units;
  • APV (armored personnel vehicles) - 15,450 (+19) units;
  • Artillery systems - 14,321 (+40) units;
  • MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems) - 1,108 units;
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems - 863 units;
  • Aircraft - 359 units;
  • Helicopters - 326 units;
  • UAVs operational-tactical level - 11,435 (+22) units;
  • Cruise missiles - 2,324 (+13) units;
  • Warships/boats - 28 units;
  • Submarines - 1 unit;
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers - 19,407 (+45) units;
  • Special equipment - 2,409 (+6) units.

Frontline situation

The Armed Forces have regained positions near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. Meanwhile, the Russians have formed another army for deployment in the Kharkiv direction.

The fiercest battles are taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk directions, as well as near Toretsk.

The Pentagon does not rule out that North Korea might send troops to assist Russia in the war against Ukraine. However, the department is convinced that these troops would become cannon fodder.
