A South American country, Guyana, has joined the final communique of the peace summit, according to the Swiss government.

According to Swiss data, this marks the 89th signature on the peace summit communique.

Guyana is a country located on the northeastern coast of South America. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, it shares borders with Venezuela to the west, Suriname to the east, and Brazil to the south.

Peace summit

In mid-June, Switzerland hosted the first global summit dedicated to Ukraine. Representatives from 100 countries and organizations participated in the event.

The summit concluded with the adoption of a general declaration. Some participants did not support it. The list of countries that refused to sign the communique includes Saudi Arabia, Thailand, India, and others: Mexico, South Africa, Brazil, and the UAE.

Ukraine has not ruled out Russia's participation in the second peace summit. However, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that there will be no direct contact with the Kremlin.
