Lisandro Martinez perfectly sums up key Argentina star in powerful three-word message after Chile win at Copa America

Manchester United star Lisandro Martinez sent a telling message to one Argentina teammate after his country’s 1-0 win over Chile at the 2024 Copa America.

Lisandro Martinez has played a starring role for the defending Copa America champions this summer after he was named in Lionel Scaloni’s 26-man squad.

The 26-year-old Manchester United defender impressed in Argentina’s 2-0 win over Canada in their Group A opener at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Martinez linked up again with Tottenham defender Cristian Romero in the heart of defence for Argentina’s second consecutive match at the tournament.

And the former Ajax star produced another solid display for Argentina, with Lionel Scaloni’s side punching their ticket to the Copa America quarter-finals.

Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez broke the deadlock late in the second half against Chile and made it back-to-back wins for Scaloni’s men.

Martinez sends message to Argentina teammate

Argentina are vying for their third piece of major silverware under Lionel Scaloni, who led the country to victory at the 2021 Copa America and the 2022 World Cup.

Lautaro Martinez has impressed for the reigning World Cup champions at the 2024 Copa America, having previously scored for Argentina against Canada.

The 26-year-old Argentine forward took to Instagram after the Chile match and sent a clear-cut message to Argentina fans.

Inter Milan star Lautaro simply wrote in the caption “Cuartos de final,” which translates to “quarter-finals” in English.

Lautaro’s latest Instagram post caught the eye of several Argentina players, including Julian Alvarez, Emiliano Martinez and Lisandro Martinez.

Manchester United defender Lisandro hailed the impressive performance of Lautaro by writing the message “Siiii Toro siii,” which roughly translates to ‘Yesssssssssssss.’
