The Corn Exchange Newbury welcomed Britain's favourite publican to their stage for a Pubtastic Fundraising Evening in aid of the campaign.
The evening was a great success, raising an incredible £12,500.
The Corn Exchange told @newburytoday they would like to thank everyone who bought a ticket and gave a special thank you to anyone who texted in or donated via our collection buckets on the night too.

Al Murray visited the Old Library with the Corn Exchange head of development Ruth Stillman before taking to the stage to see the project first-hand.
All funds raised for the campaign will go towards reopening the historic Newbury building and transforming it into a new community space and home to the Corn Exchange’s creative participation work.
Participation in the Corn Exchange’s creative activities provide a lifeline to many local people, reducing social isolation and loneliness locally, improving mental health within Newbury and the surrounding area and supporting young people in building confidence and self-esteem.
A Corn Exchange spokesperson said: “t has been incredible to see so many people supporting the Old Library Campaign and your efforts and generosity have already made a huge difference to the campaign.
“The Corn Exchange would like to say a huge thank you to Al Murray for donating his time to put on this fantastic fundraiser, plus support acts Ania Maglino and local comedian Sam Michael.
