Russians intensify pressure on Pokrovsk front, focusing efforts near Novooleksandrivka

Since the beginning of the day, Russian occupants have been most active in the Pokrovsk and Lyman sectors. The total number of combat engagements on the frontline increased to 50, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Russia does not abandon its intention to push through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Pokrovsk sector. Since the beginning of the day, the Russian invaders have attacked the positions of Ukrainian soldiers 15 times near Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Sokil, Novoselivka Persha, Vozdvyzhenka and Prohres," the report says.

According to the Ukrainian military, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled 7 Russian attacks so far, while others are ongoing.

"Russia continues to concentrate its efforts in the area of Novooleksandrivka. It also launched air strikes on Ivanivka, Vesele, and Kalynove, dropping a total of 7 guided aerial bombs," Ukraine's General Staff says.

Sectors

In the Kupiansk sector, a firefight continues near Synkivka. Two more attacks by Russian troops were repelled near Stelmakhivka and Berestove. Aviation of the Russian occupation forces struck 12 guided aerial bombs in the areas of Tabaivka and Borova.

In the Lyman sector, Russia made nine attempts to push the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Hrekivka, Kopanky, Terny, Torske, Makiivka, and Nevske. Combat is still ongoing in three locations near the latter two.

In the Siversk sector, the Russian occupation army is active in the vicinity of Spirne, with two firefights taking place. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 1 Russian attack near Bilohorivka and Rozdolivka. The Russian occupants bombarded Verkhniokamianske with two UAVs.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russian aggressor continues to try to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Pivnichne and Zalizne. Fighting continues there.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russia is storming the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Krasnohorivka, Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, and Paraskoviivka. 4 Russian attacks resulted in Russian losses, and 2 more combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, on the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Russian occupants tried to push Ukrainian units back twice. No losses of Ukrainian positions were incurred.

The situation in other sectors remains unchanged.

Situation at front

According to the Institute of War Studies, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were successful in the area of Vovchansk, where they regained their lost positions in the city.

As for other areas, according to Ukraine's General Staff, 123 combat engagements were recorded as of the evening of June 25. About a third of them took place in the Pokrovsk sector, which remains the hottest.
