Two of the most famous American fast-food chains are offering exciting deals on their meals – burgers, fries, nuggets, and soft drinks – just for $5.

McDonald’s $5 meal is here to grab
You must have got that right. McDonald’s is one of the two restaurants offering a $5 meal this summer. The offer is available starting Tuesday, June 25 at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide.
The meal includes your choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small fries, 4-piece chicken nuggets, and a small soft drink.
The brand has more deals for its fans, starting now through 2024. ‘Free Fries Friday’ is back – you can grab a free medium fry with a $1 minimum purchase only on Fridays. The offer is exclusive to McDonald’s app.
Furthermore, on National French Fry Day on July 13, McDonald’s app users can get free fries of any size without making any purchase.
Wendy’s is competing with an equally exciting deal
Wendy’s is offering a deal very similar to McDonald’s, to mark five years of its Boggie Bag deal. Since June 20, the restaurant has been giving away its famous meal for $5.
The Biggie Bag meal includes the choice of a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger or Crispy Chicken Sandwich, 4-piece chicken nugget, Jr. Fries, and a small soft. “Celebrate the start of summer and Biggie’s five-year birthday — go BIGGIE-ER with an unbeatable deal!” the press release reads.
Customers can avail the app-only deal on a mobile order or at participating Wendy’s restaurants nationwide.
While the Biggie Bag meal has been around since 2019, Wendy’s has made it special in 2024 by including a free Frosty with a $5 order. The new Frosty flavor was launched on June 12 and it’s inspired by three different summer fruit flavors, including strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry.
