However, every great thing must come to an end and the final of Euro 2024 will crown the champions of Europe for the next four years.

Italy are the current holders of the title, having beaten England on penalties at Wembley Stadium in 2021.

With Germany playing host to the continent, there’s plenty of drama that is set for the last game of the tournament.

So with that said, here’s a look at everything you need to know about the Euro 2024 final.

When is the Euro 2024 final?

The Euro 2024 final will be played on July 14th, 2024, where one nation will be crowned the winner of the competition and champions of Europe.

It marks the 51st match of the European Championships this summer, with the semi-finalists from opposite sides of the knockout rounds facing off.

Kick-off time

UEFA have organised the kick-off for the Euro 2024 final to be at 8pm (BST), which is 9pm local time.

The Olympiastadion in Berlin will be the stadium that hosts the Euro 2024 final, which boasts a capacity of 74,475.

In its 90-year history, the stadium has been host to some of the biggest sporting events in the world and is the current home stadium of Hertha Berlin.

While Euro 2024 tickets have been on sale for a while, there may still be some available for the final via the ticketing portal.

How to watch the Euro 2024 final

TV channel

The Euro 2024 final is available to watch on both BBC One and ITV One, which is free-to-air through the payment of a TV licence fee.

Live stream

With both TV channels showing the match, there is also a live stream service for both BBC iPlayer and ITVX which will allow you to watch the game for free on your smartphone or computer device.

Is there VAR at the Euro 2024 final?

Much like the rest of the tournament, there will be a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in place for the Euro 2024 final.

They will be responsible for checking key decisions in the match, giving the referee powers to overturn their decisions.

Is there extra-time and penalties in the Euro 2024 final?

If the scores are level after the regulation 90 minutes, then both teams will have to play two 15-minute halves of extra-time to determine a winner.

Should neither team be separated in this time, then a penalty shootout is required to decide which team wins.
