Russian missile debris falls on highway in Mykolaiv region: Accident and injuries reported

On June 27, while repelling a Russian missile attack in the Mykolaiv region, debris fell on the highway. There are victims, according to the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim.

"In the morning of June 27 as a result of a Russian missile being shot down in Mykolaiv district, its debris fell on the highway," he says.

A truck driver was injured and his vehicle was damaged.

"There was also an accident in which another driver was injured," Kim adds.

Russian shelling of Ukraine

On the night of June 27, Russian troops massively shelled Ukraine using drones and missiles. The explosions were heard in Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi region.

As Kim previously noted, 6 Russian drones and 3 cruise missiles were shot down over the Mykolaiv region. In total, Russia launched 6 missiles, including the Kinzhal, and 23 drones. The Ukrainian air defense system shot down five missiles and all drones.
