No-DQ match thrills fans, as Pro Wrestling returns to Thatcham

Fans were treated to an action packed night, as Pro Wrestling returned to Thatcham on Saturday.

Kennet School was once again packed, as British Kingdom Pro Wrestling put on another action filled show.

The main event was a no disqualification match between fan favourite Saime Sahin and the Heavyweight Champion Chris Bronson.

Bronson strutted to the ring alongside his mentor, former TNA, Ring of Honour and New Japan Pro Wrestling legend Doug Williams, with ‘Demolition Woman’ LA Taylor also joining.

Both heavily interfered in the match, but Sahin fought valiantly, as weapons came into play with chair shots being exchanged between the competitors.

Just as Sahin was about to finish the match with a powerbomb, Bronson used a sledgehammer to knock him down, securing the three-count and retaining his championship amidst a chorus of boos from the outraged crowd.

Elsewhere, ‘The Italian Stallion’ Antonio De Luca made his return to the UK after an eight year absence. Flying in from Rome, he drew heat from the crowd after going on a disparaging rant.

Former WWE NXT UK star ‘The English Lion’ Eddie Ryan intervened, leading to a hard hitting match which saw the Italian tap out to the Sharpshooter.

In another thrilling encounter, ‘The Man with the Black Heart of Gold’ Nico Angelo successfully defended his Junior Heavyweight Championship against ‘Fire Heart’ Tristan Lee.

Lee, who endured Angelo’s devastating chops, earned his respect, culminating in a sportsmanlike handshake after the match.

The high-flying Mega Pegasus pinned JD Knight, as the crowd erupted with chants of “JD sucks!” directed at the veteran.

The evening also saw an impressive debut from Chicago Desailly, who defeated former 4FW and Wrestling Society Heavyweight Champion, The Saint.

BKPW will return to Thatcham soon, with updates to come on their social media platforms.
