What is Lewis Dobbin’s age and height?
Dobbin was born on January 3, 2003. At the time of writing that makes him 21 years old. He also stands at 1.75 metres which is five foot nine inches.
Where was he born?
Dobbin was born in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. This makes him a fairly local player in England, with the city only around an hour’s drive away from Birmingham.
What position does Lewis Dobbin play?
Throughout his career, Dobbin has mainly played as a left winger. However, he can also be utilised as a right winger or a second striker.
His career so far?
Dobbin joined Everton’s academy at 11 years old and progressed all the way through into the first team. After making his debut in September 2021 against Everton, he joined Derby on a season-long loan a year later.
In League One, he was essential as he made 54 appearances in all competitions, scoring five times as the Rams finished seventh.
Returning to the Toffees, Dobbin was given more opportunities in the first team and made a total of 15 appearances in all competitions. The youngster earned his first Premier League start in a 1-0 defeat against Wolves back in August 2023. He also scored his first Everton goal in a 2-0 victory against Chelsea in December.
After over a decade at the Toffees, Dobbin departed the Merseyside team for Aston Villa in June 2024.

According to Fbref, Dobbin has some impressive stats for his age. In the 2023/24 season, per 90 minutes, Dobbin averages 0.5 xAG and a combined npxG and xAG of 0.8.
The winger also provides 2.33 shot-creating actions and 0.78 shots on target per game.
Is Lewis Dobbin good?
Throughout his relatively short career, Dobbin has received widespread praise for his attitude and his talents.
Last season, former manager Sean Dyche rewarded the youngster with a three-and-a-half-year deal saying: “He’s done very well. I’m very pleased with him and his application – all the young lads actually have been first class,” Dyche said, as reported by the Liverpool Echo (31 July 2023).
“We’ll see (what next) but he’s certainly laying down a marker to say ‘I’m ready and want to be part of it’, that’s for sure.”

How much did Aston Villa sign Lewis Dobbin for?
Doddin became Aston Villa’s first major signing in June 2024. The winger joined the club from fellow Premier League outfit Everton after Tim Iroegbunam went the other way 24 hours prior.
The Birmingham Mail reported that Dobbin cost Villa around £10 million to complete the transfer.
How long is his Aston Villa contract?
Upon signing for Villa, Dobbin signed a four-year contract at the Birmingham outfit which will keep him at the club until June 2028. The Athletic reported that it is not thought that he will be among the highest earners at the club.
