Cole Palmer’s wordless reaction to Kendry Paez copying his celebration at the Copa America

A number of young players who are set to join Chelsea in the next 12 months seem to have been paying tribute to one of their best current players.

Cole Palmer established himself as the key player at Stamford Bridge in just his first season with his new club.

He has been looking to take his form onto the international stage, however opportunities for England have been few and far between so far.

This has not seemed to have made a dent on some of the youngsters set to come to Chelsea, with Kendry Paez arguably being the best young talent they have brought in so far.

The 17-year-old scored his first goal at a major international tournament earlier this week as Ecuador won at the Copa America 3-1.

Palmer responds to Paea celebration

The youngster celebrated in a way many Chelsea fans will be familiar with, imitating the Palmer cold celebration he has made his trademark.

Now, the England international has responded with a winking face emoji, as well as the cold face emoji too.

Paez is not the only young player set to move to Chelsea who has gained the attention of Palmer.

Chelsea announce Estevao Willian signing

Estevao Willian was announced to be the latest big-name youngster to join the club, with him continuing to star in Brazil until he makes the move to Stamford Bridge.

He also celebrated a recent goal with the cold celebration, keeping supporters extremely excited as to what was to come in the future.

As for Palmer, he will be hoping his recent cameo off the bench for England in their final group game was enough to convince Gareth Southgate to give him the start in the Round of 16 game later this week.

One England man who likely wont be starting is Conor Gallagher, who had a rough time of things in his first major tournament start last week.
