'I can tell you': Fabrizio Romano has very latest update on Archie Gray's future with Tottenham and Chelsea keen

Leeds United fans are nervously waiting the outcome of this summer’s transfer window when it comes to the future of star youngster, Archie Gray.

Gray is one of the most sought after talents in the whole of Europe after a brilliant season for Daniel Farke’s side.

In the end, though, missing out on promotion back to the Premier League could prove decisive for Leeds and Gray.

The club need to sell players this summer to help balance the books. The likes of Crysencio Summerville and Willy Gnonto have drawn plenty of interest, while Gray himself is wanted across Europe.

Among the clubs keen on Gray are the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund.

And speaking on Gray’s situation, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on what’s happening with the Englishman.

Fabrizio Romano gives latest update on Archie Gray

Speaking on his YouTube channel late last night, Romano covered a number of transfer-related subjects.

And when it came to Gray and Leeds, Romano has said that there is indeed heavy interest there from some top clubs, albeit with no official move just yet.

“For Archie Gray, I can tell you that Chelsea have been scouting the player, for sure he is a player they appreciate but also, Borussia Dortmund is the same,” Romano said.

“Dortmund are keeping a close eye on the situation of Gray. At the moment, no bid, just interest and we will see what clubs like Manchester United and others do in this situation because many other clubs are scouting the player.

“But at the moment the two clubs with concrete interest at Chelsea and Dortmund but for example, Tottenham have also been following the player closely, so let’s see who is going to move in terms of the bid, but still nothing official to Leeds United.”

Gray is expected to command a fee of at least £30m should Leeds decide to sell.

Quite who will decide to make their move first, remains to be seen.

But the longer the window goes and the more and more clubs get added to the rumour mill, Leeds fans will feel more and more nervy over the youngster.

Certainly, with a team like Dortmund also keen, Gray could end up having a big decision to make when it comes to his future.
