Silverware stolen after St Michael’s Church, in Church Street, Framlingham, broken into and damaged

Silverware was stolen after a town church was broken into and damaged overnight.

St Michael’s Church, in Church Street, Framlingham, was targeted by thieves at some time overnight between Wednesday and yesterday.

The intruders damaged the building by forcing their way in, then carrying out an untidy search and taking the silverware.

Anyone who may have information about the incident or who saw suspicious activity in the area at the time should contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD 66 of June 27.
