Ukrainian military forces are pushing out occupiers from Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. This is happening despite the battle being fought in the streets, according to Andriy Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.

"Defense forces continue to push Russians out of Vovchansk," he said.

According to Kovalenko, the battle is raging through the streets of the city, but gradually, despite Russian reinforcements being sent there, the occupiers are being pushed back.

Situation in the Kharkiv region

Russian troops launched a new offensive in the Kharkiv region on May 10. Currently, fighting is underway in the Vovchansk direction near the village of Lyptsi.

In particular, the occupiers are currently blocked at the aggregate plant in Vovchansk, the Kharkiv region.

According to the latest data from the General Staff, recently the Ukrainian Armed Forces have recaptured positions in the northern part of the Kharkiv region, as well as regained lost positions on the Kupiansk - Svatove - Kreminna line.
