Florida Monitors Tropical Storm Beryl, No Immediate Threat To Land (NHC)

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is issuing advisories for Tropical Storm Beryl, located in the Atlantic Ocean. Forecasters predict Beryl will strengthen into a hurricane before reaching the Windward Islands.

As of Saturday morning, Beryl is moving west-northwest at 15 mph with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph.

The NHC expects the storm to continue intensifying over the next few days, reaching hurricane strength by Monday.
