Oakland Bishop O’Dowd three-star athlete Deji Ajose has committed to Washington, he announced on Saturday.

He chose Jedd Fisch and the Huskies over Oregon State, Utah and California, among others.

Ajose is the No. 591 overall prospect and No. 29 ATH in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 46 player in California.

Ajose, who plays wide receiver, running back and cornerback at Bishop O’Dowd, makes a dozen commitments for the Huskies this month, continuing the program’s ascent into the top 25 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound playmaker took an official visit to Seattle on June 19.

Last season, Ajose played seven games and caught 28 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns while also racking up over 100 yards on kick returns. He also tallied 11 tackles, including two tackles for loss and a sack, as well as an interception.
