'Inspiring' TV star dies at 33 after 'fighting' for her life - 'She didn't deserve this'

Street Outlaws star Lizzy Musi has sadly passed away at the age of 33. The street racer and TV star lost her battle with cancer after fighting the disease for over a year.

Lizzy Musi became a Street Outlaws star six years ago. She and her ex-partner Kye Kelley rose to fame on No Prep Kings. Lizzy followed in the footsteps of her street racer and engine-building father, Pat Musi, when it came to her career. The Discovery Channel star was open about her cancer battle, taking to YouTube to share her journey after a diagnosis last year.

Lizzy Musi dies at 33

On June 28, 2024, Lizzy Musi sadly passed away after enduring a cancer battle for over a year.

The street racer was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in April last year. She took to YouTube to share her cancer treatment journey, sharing some of her rawest moments including shaving her head.

Throughout Lizzy’s cancer battle, she continued to remain in positive spirits and even went catfish noodling and on girls’ nights out.

In July last year, Lizzy’s tumors were showing to have decreased in size.

But the aggressive disease sadly took her life this June.

Tributes pour in for Lizzy with many fans describing her as “inspiring” and “a great role model.”

More write on the star’s Instagram page: “You were in a class of your own” and more say she “didn’t deserve” to pass away.

“We’re deeply saddened to share the news of Lizzy Musi’s passing. She was a treasured member of the racing world and our Street Outlaws community. We extend our condolences to her family and all those who loved her.”

Lizzy’s obituary

When Lizzy first shared her breast cancer diagnosis, she said it was her “toughest race yet.”

Despite “fighting” for her life, Lizzy passed away this June.

Her obituary states that after joining Street Outlaws No Prep Kings, she became “the first woman to win an NPK race and first person to win 3 NPK events in a row.”

She passed away surrounded by family and is survived by many of her loved ones including “Liz and Pat, sisters Rose Marie ‘Bobo’ and Patricia ‘Tricia’, her loving boyfriend, Jeffrey, Uncle Ralph, Uncle Jerry and his wife JoAnn, Uncle Lars and his wife Eva, Aunts Catarina and Susanne. Cousins, Jerry, Patrick, Antonia, and Ralphie. Niece, Abriana. Her faithfully devoted dog, Jax.”

A service is being held for Lizzy on July 3.
