Glorious gala helps Harleston Sancroft Academy’s PTA raise funds for primary phase of school

Harleston Sancroft Academy welcomed visitors young and old to its summer gala.

Organised by the Friends PTA at the school’s primary phase site on June 15 to raise funds, the day included live music, stalls, displays by groups and games.

Zoe Moyse, a school governor and one of the organisers, said: “Even though the weather was a little against us, this did not stop our fantastic school community coming out to support us.

“My personal highlight of the gala was seeing pupils of the school’s two phases coming together to perform.

“The Friends PTA would like to say a huge thank you to all that supported us, whether that be by providing a stall, performing in the arena, donating a raffle prize or by attending on the day.”

The PTA’s next event will be a fireworks night at its secondary phase site in Wilderness Lane on November 7.
