Explosions were heard in the city of Dnipro during the night of July 1 amid an air raid alert in the region due to the threat of enemy missile strikes, according to Suspilne Dnipro.

It was initially reported that the sound of an explosion was heard in the Dnipro area around 2:00 AM.

Following this, the Ukrainian Air Force Command reported detecting a missile heading towards the city of Dnipro. Later, it was revealed that more missiles were heading towards the area.

At 2:05 AM, another explosion was reported in Dnipro.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, urged Dnipro residents to stay in shelters due to the ongoing threat.

It should be noted that around 1:20 AM, the Air Force warned of a missile threat to the eastern regions. At 2:00 AM, an air raid alert was declared in all regions in the eastern part of the country.

Russian strikes on Dnipro

Earlier, it was reported that search and rescue operations are still ongoing in Dnipro, which suffered another missile attack from the Russian Federation. These operations are taking place at the site of the June 28 strike, and two people are still considered missing.

On June 28, Russian forces attacked Dnipro, targeting a high-rise building and destroying apartments from the 8th to the 11th floors.

The latest data indicates that the number of injured has risen to 13, including a child. Additionally, there is one known fatality.
