Slow Horses season 4 will premiere this fall

If you’re dying to meet the unlucky River, the annoying Rody, the depressive Catherine, or the repulsive Jackson Lamb again, we have good news: the Slough House spy team will return in September.

Slow Horses, the espionage series based on Mick Herron’s series of novels, is one of the most exciting productions on Apple TV+. The British show provides a real feast for spy fans, quite different from the bombastic adventures of James Bond or Ethan Hunt.

Apple’s series combines engaging puzzles with black humour and charismatic characters. The leader is the misanthropic, slobby, ruthless and incredibly effective Lamb, played by the incomparable Gary Oldman.

The fourth season is coming soon, and we are gathering all the information about it.

When will Slow Horses season 4 be released?

The next instalment of the series will debut on Apple TV+ with a two-episode premiere on Wednesday, 4 September 2024.

The following episodes will appear weekly on the service.

An Apple TV+ monthly subscription costs $9.99 per month in the US and £8.99 in the UK.

What will the plot of Slow Horses season 4 be?

The show’s new season is based on the fourth book by Mick Herron, Spook Street.

The novel is focused on David Cartwright, River’s grandfather and retired Intelligence agent, who has dementia. When the old spy starts to unintentionally reveal secrets that should stay buried deep, River realises that his grandfather is in real danger.

While River languishes as usual, Jackson Lamb, who worked with David in the old days, starts his own action.
