Eastbound Crash Into House On Spring Hill Drive Ends In DUI Arrest (FHP)

SPRING HILL, Fla. - Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Spring Hill Drive early Monday morning.

Ann Marie Estevez, 29, of Spring Hill, driving an eastbound Toyota sedan, lost control of the vehicle. She claimed another vehicle cut her off, but details are still under investigation, troopers say.

The car careened off the road and struck a residence located at 1370 Autumn Road.

Two adults were inside the residence at the time, but thankfully, there were no reports of injuries. However, initial estimates suggest the damage to the residence exceeds $10,000.

According to FHP, the woman exhibited signs of impairment.

She refused field sobriety tests and a breathalyzer. Estevez also admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the evening. As a result, she was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI).
