Stock car and banger racing returns to King’s Lynn this Saturday

Stock car and banger racing returns to King’s Lynn this Saturday (5pm) when the BriSCA F1 stock cars are back in action together with racing coming from the F2 stock cars and the unlimited bangers in their version of the War of the Worlds team competition.

The F1 entry list was not available as we went to press but it would be a surprise if Wisbech drivers Dave Polley and Callum Gill were not in action.

It is a special night for the F2 stock cars with racing being open to drivers of the White and Yellow grade only. Several local drivers will be in action including Jess Ward who will be making her first appearance of the season at King’s Lynn together with Sam Russell, Alfie Allard and Daniel Horsepool.

Completing the action are the unlimited bangers who will be contesting the Unlimited Banger War of the Worlds.

Several local drivers will be in action. Current Entertainer Points leader James Licquorice will be looking to extend that lead as he races with the Aftermath.

Former Junior Banger Points Champion Rhys Parrin will be making his adult Lynn debut racing for the Aftermath Young Guns and following a lively performance at Mildenhall a few weeks ago his Lynn debut will be eagerly anticipated.

It is also good to see the Mad Mob being represented again with brothers Nicky and Nathan Young flying the flag for this long-established local team.

Lee Barnes will be looking to score enough entertainer points as he races to bag a spot in the September Unlimited Banger World of Shale meeting while Kieran Gray will probably be looking to score enough race points to get his spot in the race as he is in action for the Predators.

And for those wanting to not miss out on the England game, that will be shown in the bar.
