North Curve Celtic send message to supporters following release of fan survey

North Curve Celtic have sent a message to Celtic supporters following the release of a fan survey yesterday to improve fan engagement.

Commissioned by the club, several intriguing topics have been put forward for selection, including the potential for a further standing section, a redesigned Celtic TV platform, some form of membership scheme and digital ticketing.

Celtic aren’t a club lacking innovation, however, it is encouraging to see there is an appetite from within the walls to try and enact productive change.

Whether many of the options actually come to fruition is another thing, though North Curve Celtic have sent a message after the announcement was made via official channels.

North Curve Celtic advocate for goal-end standing

Taking to social media platform X, North Curve Celtic have encouraged fans to advocate for further safe standing while taking the questionnaire, the biggest of its kind in Celtic history.

Accompanying a video explaining why they want to see what would essentially be the creation of ‘the Celtic End’, they have uploaded a picture relating to their aims and which options to pick.

It read: “We encourage all Celtic supporters to complete the Celtic Fans’ Survey 2024 which has been launched today by the club. For fans who enjoy the Celtic Park atmosphere and value the positive impact this has on the team, we encourage you to answer favourably to questions related to Safe Standing sections.

“A goal-end standing section will transform the Celtic Park atmosphere for the better and give the team stronger, more consistent support from the stands. This survey is an opportunity to prove to the club that there is significant demand for this to happen.

“Within the survey, there are two questions related specifically to Safe Standing. If you support the introduction of a goal-end Standing Section then please answer ‘YES’ to both questions.

“There are an additional two questions related to improving Celtic Park facilities and enhancing the matchday experience. Please refer to a ‘GOAL-END STANDING SECTION’ in your answer.”

On the face of it, this survey provides a better opportunity than fans are ever likely to have where they can directly tell Celtic their view on all aspects of the club.

Supporters power the team forward from the stands, and pay for a substantial amount of running costs via season tickets, single briefs, merchandise and matchday revenue, so it is only fair we feel empowered to have our say.

If you haven’t already, get involved and express your opinion on what you would like to see, chances like these are few and far between.
