A pedestrian in her 70s has died after being hit by a van near a harbour.
A white Ford Transit van was exiting Beach Street car park in Folkestone onto Harbour Street when the incident happened just after 12pm yesterday.
The woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital where she later died.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed it to come forward.
