Across six different regions, online tournaments will take place to determine the best team. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, all but the European regional event will take place online. All falling under the IEM Fall banner, this will be the next largest CS:GO esports tournament around the world. As for the specific regionals, Europe hosts 24 teams, North America and CIS each hold 12 teams, while South America, Asia, and Oceania each hold four teams.

Teams get their invites to the IEM Fall RMR CS:GO esports tournament based on their current regional rankings. After they submit their rosters in the event of any changes, final RMR point deductions take place for ESL to figure out who gets invites. In total, the IEM Fall event features a $255 thousand prize pool with Europe receiving $105 thousand of it because of how many teams are there.

Taking a spot at the PGL Major will be challenging and even the biggest teams must work hard to qualify. Though fans will see who is currently the best with ESL Pro League Season Season 14 running.
