COD League 2021 Team Of The Year Revealed

The 2021 Team of the Year has finally been announced.

As the 2021 Call of Duty League season comes to a close, the SCUF Team of the Year has been revealed. While it was awarded through a fan vote, we think the community did a good job at selecting four of the best players from the 2021 season, so here it is.

The SCUF Team of the Year for 2021 sees rookie Jamie "Insight" Craven lead the line, joined by Brandon "Dashy" Otell, Chris "Simp" Lehr and Tyler "aBeZy" Pharris. Insight was without a doubt one of the first names on the list. With the highest SnD K/D in the league, and second-highest overall K/D, the rookie has impressed in his first season.

A Team of the Year wouldn’t be complete without Simp and aBeZy, so no one is surprised to see them on the roster. The Atlanta FaZe SMG duo has been unstoppable in 2021, and has only improved throughout the year.

The final player was Dashy, and while his 1.15 overall K/D was the second-highest in the league, OpTic Chicago struggled against the best teams in 2021 and dominated the worst. This means that Dashy’s K/D may not be indicative of his actual performances, leading to a player such as Cameron "Cammy" McKilligan or McArthur "Cellium" Jovel who were more beneficial to the team being more deserving of the spot.

While some might want to debate the addition of Dashy, the SCUF Team of the Year undoubtedly consists of four of the best players from the 2021 season.
