The photo marks the first snap of the kids since allegations of child abuse began circulating in September 2020 after Collin posted on Instagram outing his father.

Collin claimed that his dad was a “liar” in the since-deleted post. “Yesterday he beat me up and thought nothing of it, he punched me in the face and gave me a swollen nose and I started bleeding. He then continued to kick me in the ribs after I was on the floor. He is a liar,” he wrote in the caption.

The alarming post caused the Berks County Children and Youth Services in Pennsylvania to investigate, although Jon’s rep denied the allegations.

“Jon has never abused Collin,” the representative told In Touch at the time. “No charges have been filed against him and there’s no ongoing Children and Youth Services investigation.”

“Collin has endured severe trauma. Jon is a loving father who has worked hard to ensure that his son gets the support and help he needs,” Jon’s rep continued.

Jon’s daughter Hannah also supported her father at the time of the allegations, telling The Daily Mail that her dad has “never been abusive,” and that he is “very loving and supportive.”

The kids’ mother and Jon’s ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, also reacted to the abuse allegations by releasing a statement at the time.

“You do not punch and kick your children. You do not kick a child. I don’t want to hear any excuses from anyone, not his father, not from local law enforcement, not from court personnel whose job is supposedly to ensure the best interests of my children,” the former TV personality told the PEOPLEin September 2020.

“There is a child abuse law, PA 23, section 8i states that doing any of the following, regardless of whether it causes injury, is child abuse, and first on that list is kicking. Period. Enough is enough.”
