JEEP WRANGLER 392 GETS AMERICAN EXPEDITION VEHICLES JL370 PACKAGE UPGRADE

American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is at the pinnacle of crafting high-quality go-anywhere vehicles, from the Jeep Wrangler JL350 Package to the mighty Ram HD Prospector XL. And a certain Chevrolet in between. And last we checked in with AEV, the Montana/Michigan-based upfitter teased a build that was based on the mighty Jeep Wrangler 392. Recently, that project seems to have been unveiled.

As one of the first companies to put a Hemi V8 in a Jeep Wrangler, as well as convert them into pickup trucks, AEV is no stranger to the sort of formula that the JL Wrangler 392 delivers. And this special Jeep SUV appears to be on its way to a dealer in Glendale, California.

Jeep Wrangler 392 With AEV Upgrades

While American Expedition Vehicles has yet to announce a full, turn-key package for this factory Hemi Jeep, the build features a special JL370 package highlighted by custom painted Borah wheels that match the exclusive gold accents of every Wrangler 392 on the road today. along with a set of 37-inch wheels, standard content on every Jeep Wrangler AEV JL370 package is as follows:

AEV 2.5″ DualSport RT Suspension System
AEV 4.56 Axle Ratio Upgrade
AEV 7000 Series LED Off-Road Lights
AEV Black Branding Package
AEV Branding Package
AEV Front Skid Plate
AEV IP Cluster Overlay
AEV Jack Base
AEV JL Rear Bumper
AEV Light Cover Kit
AEV Logo Headrests
AEV Non-Winch Cover Plate
AEV ProCal SNAP Module
AEV Sport Front Bumper
AEV Swing-Out Tire Carrier
AEV Wheels

The Price

Off-hand, American Expedition Vehicles didn’t disclose the price of the seemingly one-off Jeep Wrangler 392 build. And the Jeep dealer in Glendale, California doesn’t have the SUV listed on its website, either. But, here’s what we can surmise: this is probably a six-figure SUV. Before options, the Jeep Wrangler 392 starts at over $75,000 USD, and is only available on the top-end Rubicon package. From there, the AEV JL370 package is another $15,600, before options. So, at a baseline, we’re looking at over $90-grand here, for a Wrangler. We assume there are a few options tacked on that would crest this mighty Jeep over $100,000 (remember, those wheels are custom), and we’ll report back if we can find an accurate number.
