'RHOA' Star Kenya Moore Attended Gregg Leakes' Funeral Despite Past Drama With Wife NeNe, Says It Was A 'No-Brainer' To Go

Kenya Moore and NeNe Leakes may never be close friends following their past drama, but The Real Housewives of Atlanta star still paid her respects and attended Gregg Leakes' memorial service.

“I was there to support,” Kenya told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, September 8. Despite the reality stars' drama, Moore explained NeNe's late husband was always kind to her. “Gregg never, ever treated me any differently whether I was feuding with NeNe or not. And for that, I respected him so much, and he was just a kind, gentle, caring, supportive man, and she was really lucky to have him."

The 50-year-old continued to praise Gregg — who died on September 1 after battling stage III colon cancer — calling him "one of the nicest men [she] ever met in [her] life."

"I think it was everything [NeNe] probably wanted it to be because people were happy," Moore said, noting she thought Gregg "would’ve wanted people to be happy because his life was so full and so beautiful and he was such a great person."

She acknowledged that while it was hard for her to be there, "it seemed like [NeNe] got what she wanted, for people to smile, and I think he would’ve been happy about that."
