Keanu Reeves is in a really good place these days — in more ways than one.

The actor, 57, who recently wrapped up filming Matrix 4 in Berlin, has just started shooting the next two installments of the John Wick franchise in the German capital, where he and his artist girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, couldn’t feel more at home.

Reeves — who was spotted on Sept. 9 looking happy and relaxed as he headed to the set — “can’t say enough good things about Berlin,” spills an insider. “He and Alexandra love the artsy culture and laid-back lifestyle.”

Speaking of, the Point Break actor has found himself an ideal partner to kick back with in Grant. “They get each other,” the source explained. “She gives him the creative space he needs to do his job, and he does the same for her. When they’re done with work, they hang out and have a good time. They are the perfect match.”

He can’t wait for people to see it,” dishes the insider, adding that Reeves is having a hard time keeping secrets about the anticipated project: “There are some casting choices and easter eggs fans will obsess over.”

Going forward, though, the action hero is looking to work less so he can enjoy more personal time with Grant, the insider adds: “Keanu’s friends haven’t seen him this content in years. It’s obvious that Alexandra — and Europe — are good for him!”
